Ford/Lincoln Motor Company
While at Razorfish, I was the lead designer and art director for various projects within the Ford and Lincoln brands.
These projects included design and maintenance of their support sites, various sales tools, a concierge-service app for Lincoln owners, and a collaboration with the Ford Human-Machine Interface group to launch the Sync 3 touchscreen system.
Art Direction, Design
Lincoln and Ford owners could access their accounts to view maintenance schedules, pay bills, and get support for their vehicles. I was part of a team that helped design and maintain this essential platform for Lincoln and Ford.
Car dealership iPad app
Dealer specific iPad apps allowed for customers to browse and learn about cars on the lot if the dealership was busy. This alleviated dealer workload, while improving the overall purchase experience.
Lincoln Concierge app
A concierge-type app improved the post-purchase experience by helping owners keep track of maintenance schedules, plan trips, car location, and remote locking/unlocking of their vehicles. This helped position Lincoln as a more digitally-focused, premium brand.
Ford Human-Machine Interface/Sync 3 Touchscreen
Working closely with the Human-Machine Interface team at Ford, I helped design the next generation touchscreen for all Ford cars. The final result was a SYNC 3 product that was very well-received and far surpassed it’s predecessor, the MyFord Touch.
